INSTITUTE (OPPI)

Dan is a Registered Professional Planner (RPP) and has been a member of the Ontario Professional Planners Institute (OPPI) for more than 20 years.
 
Dan has been published on several occasions in the OPPI Planning Journal, a regular panelist and speaker at the OPPI Conferences and was recognised for his leadership in the field with through the Institute's "Planner in the Spotlight" feature in 2010.

CANADA GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL -

GREATER TORONTO CHAPTER

Dan was elected to the Board of Directors of the Greater Toronto Chapter of the Canada Green Building Council for two terms from 2009 to 2013 and was awarded the Chapter's Leadership Award in 2012 for his work with the Municipal Leaders Forum and the establishment of the Ontario Green Policy Hub website "ogph.ca"

FEDERATION OF CANADIAN 

MUNICIPALITIES (FCM)

Dan was chosen to work as an Expert Peer Reviewer for the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) Green Municipal Fund from 2009 to 2011.
