Dan Stone
Principal Planner
Dan is a registered professional planner bringing more than 25 years of experience in the Municipal sector, having worked with both Official Plan policy as well as development review and land use approvals. Dan spent the majority of his municipal planning experience with the Town of East Gwillimbury and the Township of King. Dan's professional background also includes experience with the Niagara Escarpment Commission, the Waterfront Toronto Revitalization Corporation and the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies from Trent University as well as a Master Certificate in Municipal Management from York University's Schulich School of Business. Dan participates as a contributor to QUEST (Quality Urban Energy Systems for Tomorrow) policy and municipal working group, and is a member of the Canadian Urban Institute (CUI), the Ontario Professional Planning Institute (OPPI), Canadian Institute of Planners (CIP), and an accredited Green Associate (LEED-GA).
